We are delighted to announce the publishing of the first Carefree Kids Impact Report which details the positive difference Carefree Kids is making in the lives of young people in Waltham Forest and surrounding areas.
Over the last 5 years, we have worked with more than 450 young people and offered over 5,800 therapeutic sessions.
The young people we support are often dealing with multiple challenges. These may include living with a mental health condition, coping with problems at home such as bereavement or homelessness, or experiencing difficulties at school such as bullying or the risk of exclusion.
The evidence presented in today’s report shows how our therapeutic approach – which is based on a philosophy of early intervention and ongoing support – helps the children and teenagers we work with to develop their emotional resilience, giving them an opportunity to thrive rather than to simply survive.
We hope you enjoy reading more about how our work continues to offer vital support to individual children and their extended communities of family, friends and schools across our local area and beyond.
