Carefree Kids is dependent on its volunteers. However, we do understand that sometimes it is not possible for you to donate time on a regular basis. In those circumstances we are extremely grateful if you'd consider either donating directly or by helping us to raise funds!

olunteer painting the mobile play therapy busAll our therapy work is carried out by volunteers or students on placement. We welcome help with other aspects of our work including:

  • fundraising (local events or research into applications to funding bodies)
  • transport
  • administration
  • keeping spare toys well-organised
  • obtaining new toys and arts materials
  • keeping the Mobile Play Therapy Bus clean and tidy
  • donating professional services such as MOT, annual service and repairs for our bus
  • supervising volunteers (depending on your experience)
  • helping to organise our course for teenagers
  • practical help with food, cleaning etc. at our study days and conferences.
