Janinne Legge has raised over £900 for Carefree Kids on London to Paris Bike Ride in August 2016.

Although the longest Janinne had cycled before was only 40 miles, she took on this amazing feat ─ nearly 200 miles in just 3 days ─ because of her support for the work of Carefree Kids:

20160828_161850“I’m doing it for a great cause”, says Janinne, “the Carefree Kids Charity, Waltham Forest ─ who do amazing voluntary work helping kids and young people with emotional and mental health issues that would otherwise prevent them from leading full and normal lives.

I’m a firm believer that prevention is better than cure, and that mental and emotional health is equally as, if not more important, than physical health.

For kids and young people who are so at risk today, with higher suicide rates than ever before, this is even more vital, but often overlooked by mainstream healthcare.”

We are extremely grateful to Janinne for this magnificent support and also to all the people who donated via her JustGiving page.

Thank you Janinne, you’re marvellous!
